Psychology Student Finds Success with New Internship Experience Course

PSY 391 Internship Experience is a new course that provides psychology majors the opportunity for experiential learning in applied settings.  This past fall semester, CSU student Kelly Mihal, interned at Whitney Young K-8.  According to Ms. Mihal, "the experience provided me with an extraordinary opportunity to strengthen and grow in the field of psychology, beyond the textbook."  Ms. Mihal intends to use her experiences in PSY 391 to advance toward her career goals, "building on this experience, I am beginning graduate school in the summer of 2020 for Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).  And maybe, one day, my masters degree in School Psychology."
