Dr. Kenneth Vail was the lead organizer launching the 1st Existential Psychology conference at the 2019 meeting of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) in Portland, OR. The event was the first of its kind at SPSP; organizers had to find larger venues twice and it sold out 3 times!
The event was a great success—featuring keynote presentations, invited research talks, a data blitz session, a full poster session, and a networking luncheon.
Cleveland State University was also one of several sponsors who helped to fund over a dozen travel awards to promote the inclusion of diverse student researchers and presenters.
