CSU Psychology Student Excels in University Partnership Program

This coming spring, 21-year-old Elizabeth McDermott will earn a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cleveland State University through the Lorain County Community College’s University Partnership.  Ms. McDermott is currently a top scholar at Lorain County Community College:  she earned the All-Ohio Academic Top 10 First Team award; she was named a 2018 Coca-Cola Academic Team Gold Scholar; and Ms. McDermott received the Gold Scholar award from Phi Theta Kappa—an honor society for students studying at two-year colleges.  After graduation this spring, Ms. McDermott will attend graduate school and plans to become a military psychologist. 


The Department of Psychology at Cleveland State University congratulates Ms. McDermott on her tremendous accomplishments and wishes her the brightest of futures.
