Aubrey Lokey presents at Conference in Wash., D.C.

Lockey at ASGSR 2018

Aubrey Lokey (Physics and Computer Engineering major, SPS treasurer) attended the 2018 American Society for Gravitational and Space Research (ASGSR) Conference in Washington, DC.

At the conference, Aubrey presented a poster titled, "Two Phase Flow Avionics and Software Support." She also presented a talk titled, "Software and Development Support for Aeronautic and Astronaut Crew Cognitive State Monitoring," a unique occurrence at the ASGSR conference. Her poster and talk were based on the results from her summer 2018 research projects completed at the NASA Glenn Research Center.

Aubrey won the National SPS Travel Award, CSU SPS chapter travel funds, and College of Science and Health Professions travel grant to attend this three day conference that brought together a diverse group of scientists and engineers to encourage an exchange of ideas bridging discovery and invention through biological and physical science research and technology in space and gravitational sciences. Participants represent academia, government, and industry interests bonded by a common issue - how living organisms and physical systems respond to gravity. ASGSR was founded in 1984 to foster and promote research, education and professional development in the multidisciplinary fields of gravitational research.
