The MLC will operate in a predominantly remote environment for Spring 2021 semester. MLC may be accessed by any student using the zoom URL: https://csuohio.zoom.us/j/9133354329. MLC's virtual drop-in hours are scheduled to be Monday through Friday 9am-8pm and Saturday 10am-5pm (Saturday hours beginning Saturday, February 6th). Students may also request virtual appointments by writing email@example.com
The MLC will offer live support for MTH 87, 114, 145, and 147 in Math Emporium and BH 435. Math Emporium will be Mon. - Fri. 10am-12pm and BH 435 is MWF 11:15am-3:15pm (will be lab schedule dependent). Live support will be socially distanced and we suggest using staff zoom IDs to leverage the chat and screenshare functions as students work. In BH 435, staffing will be present to allow for students who need access or assistance with Minitab. For other courses, students should seek out virtual assistance with staff.
When normal operations resume: The Math Learning Center (MLC), located in the Main Classroom building in room MC-230, offers walk-in tutoring for all MTH courses by experienced student tutors in groups or one-on-one.
"The Math Learning Center offers an encouraging walk-in environment that promotes students' mathematical learning. Experienced graduate and undergraduate Learning Assistants engage students and further their conceptual and computational understanding in all aspects of their mathematics coursework."
