CSU Freshman–Sophomore Mathematics Competition

The Annual CSU Freshman-Sophomore Mathematics Competition will take place on 
 
Tuesday, April 7, 2020
6:00 – 7:45 PM 
in RT 1516
 
This competition is open to all regularly enrolled CSU undergraduate students who have completed at most one mathematics or statistics course numbered 300 or above. The background for the competition is basic algebra and geometry, very elementary number theory, and calculus; no upper division coursework is necessary.
 
Cash prizes will be awarded!
 
First Prize: $250
Second Prize: $150
Third Prize: $100
 
Box lunches will be provided by the Mathematics Department.
