Rochelle earned her BA in English with a minor in Psychology from Baldwin-Wallace College and went on to earn her Master of Education degree in Adult Learning and Development at Cleveland State University in 2005. Rochelle has spent her entire career in higher education working in various areas of student services such as advising, admissions, tutoring and teaching. She joined the College of Sciences and Health Professions Advising team at Cleveland State University in 2013.

Barb is a proud CSU alum earning her undergraduate degree in Psychology and the M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration. She has served in various roles during her 25 year stay at CSU that include: freshman advising & orientation, domestic and international admissions, Associate Director for the Center of International Services & Programs, and College of Graduate Studies. She is very happy to return to her "roots" which is helping students achieve their goals through the academic advising process.

Casey is a two time graduate of Cleveland State University. After completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005, she returned to complete a Master of Education, specializing in Adult Learning and Development, in 2006. After advising for a community college for a few years, Casey joined the College of Sciences and Health Professions advising team, at Clevelend State University, in 2010. She primarily works with students within the School of Health Sciences and will sometimes teach Intro to Health Sciences.

Barb joined the advising team in October 2013. Her experience includes work in recruitment, marketing, academic advising and student services at Huron School of Nursing and other institutions of higher learning. A native Clevelander, Barb earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Human Services from John Carroll University. She is passionate about helping students achieve academic success and reach their fullest potential.

Brian is a proud CSU alumni, earning his BA in Sociology from Cleveland State. After completion of his bachelor’s, Brian went on to earn a Master of Education in Educational Psychology from Northern Arizona University. During his time with Northern Arizona, Brian worked full time in the Registrar’s Office and in first year academic advising. Now, he is excited to be back at CSU to help students reach their education goals!

Kristy joined the Cleveland State community in 2005, shortly after the founding of the College of Sciences and Health Professions. Currently, she oversees the College of Sciences and Health Professions Advising Center and holds general responsibility for the recruitment and retention of College of Sciences and Health Professions students. She holds a BA in Public Relations and an MA in Business and Organizational Communication, and has had varied professional experiences in both New Student Orientation and Career Services at her alma mater, The University of Akron. Kristy is also a Cleveland State graduate holding a Ph.D. in Urban Education through the College of Education and Human Services.
Lynda McAndrews, Administrative Secretary
Lynda is a life-long enthusiast of learning and is very happy to find herself employed with a university. She is a strong believer in giving back to the community and volunteers for a few different organizations. Not originally from Cleveland, Lynda has adopted the city of Cleveland and considers herself fortunate to call it home – she specifically enjoys the orchestra, museums, wonderful MetroParks and GREAT restaurants.

Office of Pre-Professional Health Program Staff
Brittany Wampler, Director, Pre-Professional Health Programs
Brittany has been at CSU since 2013 and serves as the Director of our Office of Pre-Professional Health Programs, overseeing the office, directing the Individualized Post Baccalaureate Program, and serving students with 60+ credits. Brittany comes to CSU with years of advising, programming, recruiting, and teaching experience. Her role on campus is to strategically and comprehensively assist students throughout the process of preparing for and applying to professional health programs by creating unique opportunities to build resumes, advising student organizations, and assisting students throughout their application processes. Brittany holds two bachelor's degrees, a BS in Communication and a BA in Spanish from Clarion University in Pennsylvania. She earned her M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University. Brittany also currently serves as the President of the Ohio Health Professions Advisors Association.
Megan Carbone, Coordinator, Pre-Professional Health Programs
Megan joined Cleveland State University in 2017 as Coordinator for Pre-Professional Health Programs. In this role, she works with prospective students and current students under 60 credit hours as they build their holistic foundation for their professional school application. Previously, Megan coordinated the Choose Ohio First Program at Baldwin Wallace University, where she organized student success initiatives. Megan earned her BS in Therapeutic Recreation from Ashland University, and went on to earn her MAEd. degree in Leadership in Higher Education from Baldwin Wallace University.
